Now, every time you open your mouth, you’ll be stretching this bag along with your jaw and hold it there until the pain subsides.

These methods are effective, but they don’t always work for everyone. Some people have terrible problems with closed jaw muscles, which means that these methods won’t help them. Others may have problems with ice, and so might not be able to benefit from this approach.
